We stand behind the quality of our products and services, and we want every customer to feel confident about their purchase.
Please review the following policy to understand your rights and responsibilities.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns for physical products only (such as key fobs, remotes, accessories, or tools) that meet the following conditions:

Items must be unused, unprogrammed, and in their original packaging.

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

If approved, you’ll receive instructions and a return address.
⚠️ Note: Products that have been cut, programmed, used, or modified cannot be returned, as they are considered customized items.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

Key programming services, on-site or mobile services, and diagnostic labor

Cut or programmed keys, key fobs, and remotes

Custom orders or special request items

Digital or software products
These services and products are non-returnable because they are personalized, labor-based, or one-time procedures.
3. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method (excluding shipping fees).

Refunds typically take 5–7 business days after approval.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part (for example, an incorrect or defective item).
4. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
If you need to exchange a defective product for the same item, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at carsnkeys22@gmail.com with photos or proof of damage.
5. Warranty Coverage
We offer a 30-day limited warranty on all new products sold by Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith.
This warranty covers:

Manufacturer defects

Non-functioning electronics (when unused and unprogrammed)
It does not cover:

Damage caused by improper installation or handling

Normal wear and tear
-
Batteries or consumable parts
-
Issues resulting from third-party programming attempts or unauthorized modification
Warranty claims will require proof of purchase and a brief description of the issue.
6. Services Warranty
Our locksmith services (key programming, remote start, diagnostics, etc.) are covered by a 7-day workmanship warranty.
If you experience an issue related to the service we performed, contact us within 7 days of completion — we’ll review and, if applicable, correct it at no additional charge.
This warranty does not apply to issues caused by unrelated vehicle problems, electrical faults, or external interference.
7. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

The item arrived defective or incorrect, or

The return was approved as our error.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return is received.
