Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith provides professional mobile automotive locksmith services. By requesting or receiving service, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies, terms, and limitations.
Service Policy
Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith operates as a mobile automotive locksmith service based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, serving surrounding areas.
By requesting service, you agree that:

Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Appointment times are estimates only and are not guaranteed due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or prior service delays.

You authorize Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith to perform requested services on the vehicle presented.

You confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the vehicle and may be required to provide identification, registration, or proof of ownership.

All services are performed in accordance with applicable South Dakota laws and regulations.
Warranty Policy — 6 Months (180 Days)
All keys, remotes, fobs, and programming services sold and provided directly by Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmithinclude a 6-month limited warranty covering workmanship and programming-related defects.

Warranty coverage begins on the date of service and is valid for 180 days.

Warranty applies only after inspection by Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith.

Covered items must be purchased from and programmed by us.
If a covered item fails due to a workmanship or programming error during the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair, reprogram, or replace the item at no additional cost.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

Lost, stolen, damaged, abused, or water-exposed keys, remotes, or fobs

Battery failure or normal wear and tear

Vehicle electrical, immobilizer, BCM, RFH, gateway, ECU, or module issues unrelated to our service

Software updates, recalls, or manufacturer-related system changes

Customer-supplied keys, remotes, fobs, or parts
Customer-Supplied Keys & Remotes Disclaimer
If the customer supplies their own key, remote, fob, or part for programming:

Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith assumes no responsibility for defects, incompatibility, or failure of customer-supplied parts.

Programming fees are non-refundable, even if the supplied part cannot be programmed or fails after programming.

Any damage to the vehicle’s electronic systems, immobilizer, ignition, locks, or modules caused by customer-supplied parts is the sole responsibility of the customer, including all repair costs.
Vehicle Condition & System Disclaimer
Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith is not responsible for:

Pre-existing conditions in the vehicle’s locks, ignition, immobilizer, remote start system, wiring, or electronic modules

Electrical, mechanical, software, or computer-related issues that exist before, occur during, or arise after service

Failures caused by prior repairs, aftermarket installations, low vehicle battery voltage, or manufacturer defects
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of data, or loss of income.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.
By requesting service, you agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cars & Keys Automotive Locksmith from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the services performed, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
